Please see this below letter form the City of Austin regarding swim season 2025! Also note that Gillis Pool reopens for the season on June 9th! Admission is free!
Good day Neighbors and Fellow Texans!
I am reaching out to see if you would be kind enough and willing to add this to your newsletter to inform the good folks of Austin.
I am writing to inform you of the FY 25 Swim season is about to take off at a neighborhood pool near you!
Please see attached flyers and links for information on our amazing Child, teen and adult learn to swim lessons, our amazing summer swim team league and even information on how Austinites can find FREE swim lessons are!
Our Summer FY 25 Aquatic swim guide will help guide the way to your closest community or Neighborhood pool or take lessons at deep eddy!
Registration is filling up quickly, our spring session is in full swing with youth sim team practice and learn to swim programs happening daily at Garrison Pool and Bartholomew Pool.
We are also working with the M.A.C.C. to offer Bilingual classes (Contact the M.A.C.C. for details).
We are pleased to offer classes at 22 facilities this year and would like to welcome our friends and neighbors to the ribbon cutting of the newest facility Colony Park Pool the first new aquatic facility since 1997, and the newly completed renovation of Givens Neighborhood pool.
Ribbon cutting for Colony Park is set for May 24th, and for Givens on 7 June.
Our main Aquatics office is located at; 2818 San Gabriel St Austin. And our hours are from 8 – 6 pm daily Monday through Friday, if you need assistance or are wanting to register for lessons or to become a lifeguard (and earn $21.63 an hour) please stop by and see us.
